Who should attend?

• Is interested in the application of the Quarry Regulations and ACOP

This course is aimed at supervisors and newly appointed managers as this course provides an overview of the key features and requirements of the Quarry Regulations 1999 and ACOP


To provide course members with:

• Understand the meaning of the terms Regulations, Approved Code of Practise (ACOP) and Guidance and their legal

• Start to understand and become familiar with the structure of the Regulations, the ACOP in respect of inspections in

• Be able to refer to and interpret specific parts of the Regulations and ACOP
