Any person who has responsibility or is involved in the management of hauliers and who requires an understanding of working or overseeing drivers.

The course aims to give individuals a clear understanding of hauliers' roles, relevant legislation, and daily operations within the extractive and mineral processing industry. It also provides practical tips, communication skills, and strategies for building positive, effective relationships with hauliers.

The course covers the haulier’s role, key legislation, and industry compliance schemes. It includes topics such as Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), documentation, tachographs, driver hours, vehicle inspections, PPE, and driver wellbeing. It also focuses on effective communication, conflict management, collaboration, and safety considerations, including awareness of vulnerable road users.
