The day is packed full of a number of interactive activities that are combined with a number of blended learning techniques leading to an extremely thought provoking and highly stimulating day. Aims
This course supplies participants with a solid understanding of the principles of safety management and the consequences of poor safety performance. It develops the skills necessary to recognise and identify key factors in accident causation and "Firestarter" events—those that can trigger serious incidents.
Attendees will gain an appreciation of accident theory and how it can be applied in real-world settings. The course also covers the importance and methods of workplace inspections, along with an overview of the moral and legal obligations related to safety, personal limitations, and responsibilities.
Furthermore, participants will develop key influencing skills that can be applied in the workplace to promote a strong safety culture and reduce risk.
