Description
The Mineral Sector Safety Passport is a two day course that grants the delegate with a safety passport that lasts for 3 years. The delegates will endure highly engaging lectures and interactive group discussions to grow candidate knowledge. The webinar variant of this course is only available by LAPTOP OR COMPUTER, please note that smart devices such as phones or tablet are not permittable for our courses.
Who Should Attend?
This courses mainly caters to contractors working within the mineral processing and manufacturing industry. This passport will be required for anyone who plans to attends sites such as; quarrying, sand and gravel operations, concrete, cement and asphalt plants and surface mining.
Aims
With this, we seek to supply delegates with an increased awareness of health and safety issues that may occur in the workplace; we also attempt to improve the delegates ability to encourage safe behaviour during day-to-day activities in the extractives and related industries.
Includes
The central focus of the course intends to improve the delegates knowledge on health and safety in the mineral processing industry, it also includes how to identify incorrect and unsafe behaviour in the workplace as well as how accidents are caused and the best ways they can be prevented. More components of the course are as such: personal responsibilities for safety, use and care of protective equipment, safe driving behaviour, minimising risks on site as well as carrying out suitable risk assessments.
