The Mineral Sector Safety Passport Refresher course is one day course that only people with an in-date passport can attend. We consider this an enlightening course that is provided for those who require a renewal of their passport. The webinar variant of this course is only available by LAPTOP OR COMPUTER, please note that smart devices such as phones or tablet are not permittable for our courses.

It is important that the delegate understands that to qualify for the refresher course, they must attend before the passport expiry date; however if they do this, they will not be required to attend the regular two day course. The course is aimed at contractors working within the mineral processing industry.

With the refresher course, we aim to provide a basic understanding of health and safety and environmental knowledge in the workplace, as well as to keep the delegate up to date with any changes in legislation. If the delegate wishes to have a more in-depth experience, it is recommended they sit the two day Mineral Sector Safety Passport course.

The content of the course is as such: the causes of accidents at work and how to prevent them, importance of avoiding hazards, safety and risk management, behavioural safety and occupational health risks within the quarry environment.
