Description
The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day course that focuses on developing the awareness of how to conduct instructions and procedures required in the event a worker is taken ill or is injured within the workplace. This course can only be attended in person, meaning an online edition of the course is unavailable.
Who Should Attend?
We hold this course for anyone who wants or is required to receive a more in-depth analysis of how to maintain competence and professionalism when handling a health and safety error, such as an injury or illness, however the primary target audience tends to be managers or supervisors, as they are often the individuals who handle such cases.
Aims
The aims of this course are to inform the delegates of the relevant actions in an emergency, as well as the understanding of how to carry out life saving techniques of first aid if necessary; it is also important to us that the delegate can diagnose and deal with injuries within the workplace.
Includes
We offer delegates crucial, potentially life saving information about emergencies in the workplace, as well as health and safety.; the course teaches about respiration and hypoxia, along with any issues that may occur within the nervous system and unconsciousness. We will also educate the delegate on basic first aid procedures such as the recovery position; and finally, legislation involving health and safety.
